Having just returned from the BlogHerFood’14 conference in Miami Beach and having eaten way more food than any one person should in a few short days I’m trying to get back to the norm. This is not a recipe per-se but a concoction that I eat often for breakfast, lunch or a mid-day snack.
The frig was pretty much void of anything fresh so I managed a trip to my local farmer’s curb market yesterday and came home with the most delicious fresh picked North Carolina strawberries. They are so sweet and tender, I’m pretty sure N.C. could give California a run for its money in the strawberry fields! I also ran by my local Whole Foods for some raspberries and blueberries. Don’t you love summer berries?
Here’s the scoop; spoon some plain yogurt into a bowl. Top with berries. I added sunflower seeds today for a bit of crunch. You can add nuts or seeds of your choice. Drizzle with some local, oh so good for you, honey. Eat, feel healthy and I’ll see you soon.
I’ll be posting soon all about the fantastic conference as well as the culinary tour I took while in Miami. So many things to do and so little time. Can you relate?
Enjoy!
