What could be better than a party full of “Sweet Treats”? I can’t think of a thing! Lisa at “Sweet As Sugar Cookies” invited me to join her party with that delicious Orange Cheesecake. I love a party and I joined right in. Thanks for the invite Lisa! If you have a sweet tooth drop by her party – you won’t be sorry.

With these two recipes posted this month, I’ve decided to declare January “Orange” month. ( https://theorangebee.wordpress.com/2012/01/08/orange-shallot-dressing-and-a-january-bee/ https://theorangebee.wordpress.com/2012/01/06/orange-cheesecake/ ) Since orange is one of my favorite flavors this is pretty easy for me. All the recipes I post will include oranges in them in one way or another. You won’t want to miss these flavorful, refreshing, juicy, citrusy, delicious recipes. I hope it’ll brighten up your month.
I was pleased to meet a couple of new readers who expressed interest in my bee keeping adventures. Bee season is not far off and I hope to report many interesting and happy escapades with my beautiful bees. February will be the start of feeding season for the hives. Stay tuned…
Thanks for stopping by. Remember comments are always welcome and continually bring a smile to my face. Good for derailing wrinkles!
Enjoy!
Looks amazing! We just picked up a bee hive! May give it a go 😀
Frugal-That is awesome – I’d be happy to answer any questions I can about keeping bees. Good luck and keep me posted!
Bees are critical for pollinating crops and honey is full of important nutrients. Keep up the great work which is an inspiration to others! You picked a perfect month for everything orange and I’ll be looking forward to your creations. It’ll definitely make my January a lot brighter!
Thanks LInda – I know you know the importance of bees. Magnificent little creatures. Without them 70% of the food we eat we would not have!
I love the bee photo and can’t wait for the “escapades.” (The orange cheesecake is to-die-for too.)
Thank you Susan. Until the escapades start up again you can check out the Bees & Honey page at the top of the blog for the past year of bee adventures.
Can’t wait to see more!
I’m still stunned about your statement that without bees, we wouldn’t have 70% of the foods we eat. WOW! You simply MUST teach a class at Central Market. People don’t know these things and we need to. I will never squash a honey bee ever again.
Commenting is good for derailing wrinkles. I’ll buy some of that !
Right!?! I’ll do my best to comment so you too can derail those wrinkles.
Can’t wait for the upcoming photos and tales in bee season from you! You’ll be my go-to place for interesting
bee-dingreading 🙂 Looking forward to the rest of your orange recipes too!Charles, I like it when I see a comment from you as it is sure to instigate a laugh! Thanks for that. I’m excited about my orange recipes. Stay tuned…
Aah, I do try 😉
