I had plans to bake and bring you some delicious, sweet little recipe today….It wasn’t meant to be! The water heater flooded my laundry room and storage closet this morning, which forced me to shut off the water to the entire house, until I could crank the knob on the dad gum thing to off. Once I turned the breaker box switch to off and shut the knob off I was able to turn my water back on, but somehow I lost the drive to get creative in the kitchen between mopping up water and hanging out towels to dry as even earlier this morning we discovered the clothes dryer had decided no more drying clothes. We are about to dump some dough into a couple of new appliances tomorrow. I’m simply thrilled! On a more positive note I am so grateful I was home when the water started to flow or our entire house would’ve been flooded and that, my friends would’ve been a total nightmare!
In lieu of the sweet little recipe, which wasn’t happening, I decided writing would make me feel better. I present you with a few more “green” recipes from my first year of blogging. If you’re new to my site you’ve likely not seen these recipes. If you’ve been on board from day one you may have already been down this road, and if so I apologize for the repeat. Telling you about my day has made me feel better, as suspected. Thanks for being such good listeners. Now, I’m off to teach a fitness class which I pray will relieve the stress I felt all day!
Enjoy!
